I recently finish my obake quest by finally securing the black sheet obake (thanks lapin).

What figures/scuplts/artist do you strive to, or already own, complete collections of?

odd as it sounds, i used to be a lego completist. i would collect whole series of legos. it got out of hand when i, at one time, had the entire catalog of lego star wars toys

I'm trying not to have that mindset.

As close as i get (i.e. ghostfighter) I know they'll be one that will elude me, like the GID, and it will drive me nuts.

I'm currently on a Blobpus kick... but you all knew that...

I feel more "complete" when not complete these days, if you know what I mean.

Anyway, after selling off a bunch of stuff, I think the only things I have complete sets of are the Dero, Biskup Helpers, and the mini mono bunnigurus. Oh, I think I have all of the Fling monkeys (which I plan on selling) and all the Jake Apes (will sell). I will probably unearth some other things that I have complete sets of as I unload.

How many Dero's are there? wasn't the gold next to impossible to find? you going for the squires?

Yeah, I have the gold dero. Squires - well, I have heard that the herd is coming, so I will have the basic 4 plus a couple of the others (kow).

Yikes! Mine is still sealed in the bag and looks good. Wonder why it turned. Seems like that might have happened to the gold series 1 [expletive deleted] too.

I keep thinking of stuff... I have all of the glamour cats. Probably will sell those except for my favorites.

Frank expalined why on KR a while ago..Something about 2 compounds that they mix to get the gold color and they separate after a while if not mixed well enough...

I am attempting to complete the Phantom 8 Man Bee suit collection - and I think I might be there, as a little bird tells me the SWAT suit may never have actually been released, or is in fact the clear black with addition of an unlreleased jump suit. Only one man knows for sure. I have completed the Satan Phantom suit collection. I also want to complete the Toxic Phantom suit collection too. SO far I have 12 versions, but there are another 6 - which Lapin scooped up in one fell swoop recently!

There;s only four of them. Easy to collect and complete.

I am planning on posting pics of the lot, but I need to find time to suit up 20 or so bodies. In fact I've been planning it for a long time as it took me years to get this many suits together. But when I saw Lapin's huge auction win of all those suits in one place, it kind of destroyed the urge as it had already been done.

It sort of depends on what it is...I like to take a group of stuff I like and then figure out some sort of collection I want to put together...

For instance, I like KAWS but only get the black pieces. I want to eventually put together a collection of all the GID SB henshin suits, but that is a very long term goal...

I also have a fascination with stuff inspired from older things and remakes. Thus I love the Charactics minis of the invaders, dokuro king etc., and hope to display them with the various vintage and remade invaders. Basically I have a lot of incomplete ideas going so far!

That being said I try to get all the SB and RxH unless I really don't like the color scheme. Fortunately or unfortunately, I seem to like almost all of them. To my alarm though, I was going through my obakes the other day and found I was missing one...but it isn't one of the really rare ones...

im trying to get over completism but its a hard thing to kick...from now on i think im gonna go for sculpts i know they will only make a minor amount of...ive got just about every damn dunnny there ever was but thats come to a stop...i HAD to have all 6 mars-1 observers so i got those...i think the sours and mutant chaos's will be next on my list, although the balzacs and rainy day stuff are mighty tempting
