Actually I think today is the first time that BASK stepped on LASK's toes. The opposite precedent was set some time ago ... when Pogue announced that the Store Pit forum would also serve as the Bay Area forum. Call it payback, or maybe just a boring Tuesday.

Next time there's a big S7 event it'll be good as always to see some of our friends from the southern half of Califas. I hear you guys have a nice Span of Sunset.

BTW no matter what Bert says, don't feel badly about being naked in a leather vest. We get that all the time here in SF. It doesn't even raise eyebrows any more. Now lederhosen, that's rad!

Frankly, I like vests. I always try to wear one when I wear a suit or have to dress up a bit.

I took all that stuff out years ago when the ReSearch "Modern Primitives" issue had the same effect on piercing and tattoos that the Mook may be having on RxH fandom. I do have the dubious distinction of having been pierced by Jim Ward during an earthquake. Not recommended!

pierce whatever you want. it's your body...and no, it doesn't bother me. not much does cause you know...desensitized from playing video games and all that crap, or maybe it was the crash into the boards a couple of weeks ago that did it.

...i used to have rings but once at a show(Lifes Halt/Carry on at the PCH club in Wlmington.CA)they got caught in the strands of a girl's hair who was in the pit having fun...i had to follow her around and ask her to join me on the side away from the action...it hurt like a mother fucker and it took a couple of minutes to uncoil the hair from the ring...needless to say I keep my shirt on at shows no matter how hot it gets and I changed to studs...is that enough info fo ya Loco?

i saw that pic on the SOTD thread and was going to mention that something is lost when the hand throwing the finger is sporting a pinky ring. Right after you flip someone off you can go back to drinking your chai tea with that pinky extended out proud, and everybody will be like damn, that guy is hardcore I wouldn't want to feel the pimp slap with that thing on.
