...ever thought about a pm to either Josh or Glenn?...you've been here for a while so I don't see why they wouldn't be cool with it...you are obviously a fan and really want the figure and that's what I like about this, fans going crazy over toys but also getting the damn things!...unfortunately I have not bought any of the new Real Head stuff coming out,yet I still love the way the look and if I can only appreciate it in photo form so be it...

...good luck on getting this bad-boy!...

I'm curious to know why this particular Dokugan is so damn expensive...?

I realize the guts add some additional production cost's to the price and all but this just seems a bit extreme compared to previous releases...

if you look at datadub's photos... the price at the show looks considerably higher than previous releases. so i guess it's in line

yeah I saw the 10,000 yen pix as well, but after tax over at S7 the total amount came to $173.00, that's a pretty serious mark up in price if you ask me...!!!

10,000 yen = $101.00 currently

Trust me I'm not bashing S7 at all, I'm just trying to understand... I figure the "across the pond" aspect that rhino was referring to would be the underlining reason for the most part...!!!

There is absolutely no remorse on my end whatsoever cause' I bought one regardless of the hefty price...!!! Fuck I just wish I could afford to buy two of them so I could put one on my desk at work cause' I freekin' love this clear motherfucker...!!!

And on a side note...

I'm very grateful that I'm even able to get my hands one one of these Dokugans and feel very lucky to have an outlet such as S7 to even purchase such items thru so "thanks again Josh" for getting back to me about this one...!!! All your help is most appreciated...!!!

Thanks for the swift kick in the nuts Kirkland... I needed that

Don't have any Dokugans yet. Are most of them in the 9" range? The wing span must be what 10 - 10 1/2"? Are the "guts in this one vinyl?

So how much does it cost to get into a Pachi Summit exactly as I have never had an opportunity to attend one...?

I was actually pretty happy with the price...I believe other dokugans sold in the US (at S7 and elsewhere) have been in the 110-125 range. Couple things to think about:

-the extensive vinyl guts is almost like getting two figures in one
-because of those guts, I bet this guy weighs a ton (think increased shipping costs).

That's what I figured for the most part, the extra cost for the guts alone would obviously make this Dokugan more expensive... was that the case with the regular DX Blobs that had guts...? I'm not really sure if they were more expensive because I'm not a hardcore Blob collector... at least not yet anyway...

:P

knowing you can't really afford to keep up with your favorite hobby. it's a tough pill to swallow.
I love this figure, but my wallet's staying in my pocket. (unfortunately)

We basically have to pay retail+ on these and retail is higher than normal. We probably wouldn't have even offered a pre-order if we hadn't gotten so many request about them.
