Post medicom/bearbrick QC.
has anyone noticed medicom (bearbrick 400% especially) 'quality' control go downhill majorly in the last 6 months to a year?

recently got the ron english 400%. looks like it was painted by a 5yr old and is pretty scuffed, also someone/the factory (not sure how bearbricks are done these days) has painted over certain areas which makes it looks like someone like me has painted it (ie no one with any skills and using white-out). the back of the left leg has some huge chemical mark too.

alot of paint apps on series 14 (the pattern one especially) were terrible too. my T9G evirob had a fucked head. i think the only medicom product i've bought in the last year that has been passable was the loveless monster.

so bad, what's up with medicom?

That's not cool...particularly since it seems like they are raising prices on everything quarterly. RAH figures are almost 20,000 now!

I picked up the Giger and Shag 400% just before Christmas and the quality was spot on as always . . . I've never had a problem with 'em.

But as with everything in this game I guess it's the luck of the draw! :?

Now the artistic merit of a lot of the newer Be@rbricks is a whole other matter!

quality has been slipping for years. I was a pretty huge medicom support and picked up a ton of kubrick / bearbricks but they started to get greedy and let both their design and quality go down hill.
