Yeah the rainbow version can't compete IMO. I want a straight reissue.

I'm sure the new wife wouldn't mind allocating some of the wedding money. The Frankenruge would look lovely next to the new linens and cutlery.

he is real easy to pick up because he is light but real hard to pay for because he is heavy but you can get a damaged one for around $500 missing horns, boots and lots of paint loss aka "loved" condition. the painting josh did a good while back rocks do you remember it? i looked around but can't find the image anymore.

yeah, i had the rainbow one but traded it to someone on the board. at first i was psyched about it because I know I'll never own an OG 'gruge but it really doesn't compare to the original sculpt.
Funny, it seems like none of the Barom-1 villain dudes have been reproduced in their original form - anyone know what that is? Are the mold missing or something?
A giant size frankengruge exact repro would be killer.

I've seen damaged ones go for 70,000 yen or so.
Ones with boots and horns can skyrocket to bizarro land.
With time and some connections, I was able to land one in great condition that I am happy with. One of my grails. Took years and pricey but so incredible.

Ths molds may still exist but probably unusable, after 30 years they would be rusty and pitted. Sometimes when they were finished with them they were filled with material so they couldnt be used again. I think Brian could answer this question much better than me.
