did you get to meet him and get any insider info on future rebel ink releases? :)

I didn't talk to him, I hate just saying "I think your stuff is really cool". He was able to communicate with people, but I could tell it was tough for him.
There was one group of people that were trying to get him to draw pictures for them in their Usugrow books...autographs are fine, but saying "it's cool if you wanna draw a picture" is pretty lame.

NT... i looked for you but from Doc's description (tall, skinny & black hair) you couldve been any number of dudes... i knew going in that he was mostly going to have prints and a small handful of originals, but i thought it was pretty awesome seeing everything that big... the three canvases were really nice, simple but nice.i'm siked that i got to pick up two originals even though most things were presold before the show even opened.

i also talked to usugrow for a little while and he showed me a preview of the next colorway of the rebel ink. i'm not too good at describing some things so i'll just say it was pretty rad.

and then this morning i had breakfast with doc t and that was awesome meeting him. but now i'm home and i need a shower to wash all the portland hippie scum off of me. armpit hair on girls is just wrong.

The Maru Consolidated is killer. That's gonna look nice on a deck.

How much were the prints?

Yeah, we all look the same up here. I didn't see anyone - did Doc even go? It was surprisingly empty when I was there which was kinda surprising...I pretty much stopped going to 1st Thursday (unless there's someone showing like Usugrow) because of the crowds.
I forgot about the Hanya masks - those were cool and I would have bought one if they weren't already sold.
Anyway - glad you had a good time and were able to score a couple pieces! But the hippies can be a problem.
