Well........1 - This cat always does this, it's called flipping and it's this guys job it seems, so no surprise. 2- Maaaayyyybe you should remove the link to the over priced BIN auction? Most of us know the deal, but some people might be tempted to go nuts and support this. I'm just saying, not trying to be a jag.

Anyway, no surprise, I was surprised he had a Rainbow Chaos for under $200. I LOVE this orange colorway on Chaos, wish I could nab the original, and for these prices I'd RATHER get the OG.

I actually am sort of shocked at the price but if it's true that he's the board member that some say he is, it's possible that our own hype fueled his greed.

True Doc I've seen him on the bay as long as I've been at this. I just meant current RxH mini hype, sorry I wasn't clear. Greed was definitely a pre-condition. Still that's a pretty hefty profit margin even for him.

why anyone would throw nearly 6x retail at a toy that is only a couple weeks old is beyond me.

All I know is this...I've been searching for a few mini zags. Chaos had an older one and asked me to "make an offer," but it was too low for him. Next thing I know, (about a week later) the exact same zag showed up on the bay from auction toy for about 200.00

Now could be a complete coincidence or it is what it is.

Given the recent hoohaa regarding RxH, domestic x Int'l distribution and extremely limited run size, merely the fact of it being available is enough if yer pockets are deep enough . . .



Not if the quantities are seriously low . . . in some instances the longer it's left from release date the harder it is to find, as they get bought from the flippers and find there way into real collectors hands.

I'm not saying it's a good thing but I, like many other Brainers, have overpaid for a 'must have' piece . . . sometimes it's with regret, but most of the time I'm just relieved to have got it.

The minis are just seriously crazy though . . . I've not even considered buying any! Anything over retail for 'em just seems to be entering chase Dummy territory.

That's not always true SA. Look at the V3 Evil. It sold on eBay and YJA at first for like $300. Now it's sitting on YJA with a BIN price around the same, and has been for a little bit. Clearly it is NOT worth $300 now. Those were hype prices. Same with Rainbow Chaos. There's ones with BIN prices at $200 and still no one bites though the first few to be flipped went for that or more. Hype plays a big and sad role in all of this.

Unfortunately, I've played into the hype game with a couple figures. it's a gamble. you never know if you're acting too soon. one thing is for sure: hundreds of dollars for a relatively new vinyl toy = stoopid. By no stretch of the imagination do I think I'm above this, because I've done some stoopid stuff. It's a losing battle.

we should all just move to japan and hang out at the RxH shop all day doing chores and running errands for Mori. I call dibs on dusting the figures!
