ugh, he has at least 3 orange mini chaos and 2 new mini bigs, I'm guessing he got them from the shop direct. Can we open a forum for Mori to sell here, maybe even at 2-4x retail, I would be happy to pay him instead of the flippers

hmmm, this is not good. i think mori-san should be made aware.

f***. maybe i just made it worse for the green with my comments.
maybe i should have just let it go...

some facts.
no need to go hard on the red. its twice as many as the green.
the green is a walk-in store exclusive while the red is available through phone orders. please, no need to shoot through the roof.
at that price, wouldn't you rather whack the regular older brother?

Thanks for the info Joe-

The price one these minis is going crazy!

I prefer the red out of the 2 so good news for me!

Does anyone know if the reds are reaching S7?

i think the only reason the flipping keeps happening is that there continues to be a profit there. if nobody supported the flippers, they would stop.

its not like they are in it for the love of the toys, or out of concern for people who missed out. its purely the money.

Yeah it would be nice if no one supported the flippers but that's like asking people not to buy drugs so dope dealers will go out of business. Sadly there are too many people out there who has alot of disposable income and paying flipper prices to some of these guys is like buying a pack of gum.

It makes you think though doesnt it? No hype or any threads about that new Green Ninja and lots of them all on YAJ now- no hype or crazy BINs.

I feel we are our own worst enemys.

Yeah, that's the game.

I wonder if some of those "high priced auctions" are the flipper shill bidding just to create the illusion of these being "worth high prices" than some of us get this thought train going of "well, it's what it's worth and if I want it I gotta pay it."?

Shill bidding is a distinct possibility. We, as a concentrated community, represent a significant part of the flipper marketplace, and there is no question that finished auction prices on YJA are used to estimate after market value by collectors and dealers alike. I feel like a couple of flippers are working together to bump and sustain prices considerably, and are most certainly targeting SBers.

I want that mini orange Chaos soooooo badly, but I am just gonna wait it out....hope S7 gets some, otherwise it goes on my wanted list.

like in the realm of art collecting----the "art mafia" works around the same concept of using all sorts of hypes in order to propel prices into bloated proportions.

sometimes, the strategy is to "corner" the market---buy all the toys---create an "illusion" of increased value via yja/ebay.

and yes, im afraid the boards sometimes help the cause of flippers.

It's impossible for us not to aid the flippers in a way.
The only effective way to do that would be for us to never talk about any new and exciting toys. And to never express our appreciation for products we all love. And that would kind of defeat the purpose of coming here. At least make it real boring.

Or the people that DON'T like a figure could be more vocal so that rather than just 150 pages of hype there's 300 pages of mixed opinions. But that usually doesn't go too well...
OR everyone could swear to Lord Bemon that they'll never buy a figure that's less than 8 months old at anything more than 25% over retail.

I for one am now always gonna piss all over new releases/ clolour ways- even if I like them, just to reduce the overall hype factor. :D

Also LOLZ at the mini red with a 33k BIN- please for the love of god no one buy it, thats more than a V3 evil! and I understand that there are much more mini reds than V3-

As soon as a couple have sold at these stupid prices, they will drop rapidly and become much more availble- just like with the Rainbow chaos's.

Remeber kids- flipping funds terrorism!
