I thought someone would bring that up, and that would be a problem, if I wasn't an honest guy.
So it doesn't happen, Im not even opening them until Im done with mine then I have a slot/placing in the order. If I get it done fast Im slot 1 and if you don't like what I do heaven help who send theirs in first


And as for participants, we are at about 10 that I PM'ed and with the law of averages we will have 4-6 participants.

I think this is a great idea, and I'm looking forward already to the group shot of all of them together.

Unfortunately, my painting skills are such that it would be grotesquely unfair for motorbot or Hiro (for example - really, almost anyone) to submit one of their amazing gems, and then have them end up with something painted by me in return. My conscience just wouldn't allow that, so I'll be on the sideline - but watching with eager interest.

maybe i'm just retarded, but couldn't you just paint a chaos white or black and start over instead of looking for a unpainted? again this is probably because i don't customized them that that might be a dumb question

Well...the deal was that we were suppose to use the KT Solids cause they were inexpensive and readily available at the time. I missed it so I might use a flesh one instead. We are trying to use figures that are not part of the usual production run, hence the Solids from KT. I think at the time red thought this up, there was only the regular and mini chaos out, so he wanted to use something of equal value. This way board members don't feel like they got taken advantage of if they use a blank red, or flesh figure and get a Solid instead.
So, to answer your question, you can paint over a chaos...but if you use the Roto-chaos (for example) and trade it away, most people would want a chaos of equal value in return. I say most because there are some that will pretty much paint anything and take anything in trade.
Anyway, we are sending the figures to red so he can take a group picture and then he will draw names and ship the trades out...which is why we have to send him some money (to cover the shipping charge).

Honestly, I think you could probably paint any type RxH figure... I'm sure the person who received it wouldn't mind if they didn't get a chaos.

Truth be told, I don't care what Chaos you use but the flesh blank is readily available, but the KT white Chaos is designed for customizers. There has been a lot of complaints (some with good reason) of people painting over rare low run toys that are on board memebers want list etc. So to not beat a dead horse, bring out that old hat, stir the pot the KT white Chaos is prefered.
