Hey all new old fan here 
I grew up with all manner of jpnese toys, kaiju, kamen rider, doraemon and gi-joes/thundercats 
But I've only recently(the last 3 weeks or so) got back in to toy collecting/enjoyment, even though I've always bought toys that I enjoyed (usually because of a manga)
I never realized there was such a dedicated group of collectors here in the states, and I'm soo glad I found out about it!
Anyway that glow Blobpus is amazing!!
I'm definitely in for one of those badboys even tho these last few days have been Crazy expensive. Specially since finding out about these forums a few days ago lol (The wait to get approved by the admin before I could post felt soooo long lol)
I can't wait till its released, gonna be my first blobpus

I haven't bought any blobpus and i've been eyeing the DX series since they came out and i just might have to make this my first.
This looks like something i'll put on my bedside table next to my alarm clock heh.

According to the website, the effect in the picture is from a blacklight, not just GID. I guess that means I have to get a blacklight now.

well the blacklight gives it more of that crazy blue hue to the glow but i think it'll glow almost as nice with a little charge under a room light during the day.

The best/quickest way to charge any GID is with a UV flashlight.
You can get a pretty good 3xAAA UV light for ~$7 from lighthound(great company out of Texas) or you can probably get something even cheaper on dealextreme but shipping will take quite a bit of time.
