Post Flavor of the second...?
I am finding it very interesting, now that I am interested in japanese kaiju, most (though not all) of the "urban" vinyl that grabbed my attention before now seems just boring somehow.

My concern is that this same thing will happen again. Will it?

That depends. How often has this happened to you before?

Stay focused and don't overextend yourself?

Be open to the next thing invading your mind (and your taste changing) and appreciate it like you're appreciating japanese kaiju?

And if it's East versus West, I think some juxtaposing or mixing of quality pieces from both sometimes creates great atmosphere. vibe and complexity. They can sometimes play off each other in different ways.

I probably sound overly vague but anyways...

I'm right there with you... :D

I know that in my case, I'll never grow tired of all my past interests in western vinyl, but that doesn't mean I'll keep all of it either.

Kaiju has been my flavor for 24 years.

Do you like the movies and shows? I think that gives them a bit more history and makes them a bit more valid.

They inspired everything we like here now.

+1

I serioulsy appreciate the stuff that I work hard to get. And not so much for the stuff that I can pick up easily.

So I try to buy pieces that will take me a few months of tracking and begging for.

It keeps my interest more.

If I bought every toy avaliable I would loose interest very quickly.

Slow down and enjoy them. And when you add that one piece it wil be that much more appreciated.

Plus I noticed that the collectors that say that they want out and even go as far as selling of larger amount of there collection eventually retrun back.

Its in your blood and you cant escape it :)

So instead of looking for a way out juts look for a way to grow.

Buy pieces from here , there and all in between.

Your collection will be awsome and you wont loose interest in western of eastern toys.

winning is overrated (once you do it you got to keep it up 24-7)

SIGH!
