There is some double standards around here, you just have to redeem yourself later. I have been called out as well after basically quoting the same person that called me out and was called an asshole for not being sensitive to women to much support of the person. A few days after the fiasco, a hairy muff neck tie was posted by that same person to much support as well.
Personally I still like the person and didn't take what they said to heart, you just got to be ready for negatives when you post in public space. Its been said here before just have a tough skin but in addition to that there is a rule you have to learn on your own, unless they add it, and thats knowing when to shut the f**k up. I kind of learned the hard way as well, but I kind of don't mind being offensive, I do tend to like (most) everyone here so I figured it best to be compliant.
