Philly has always been a rockin' town though - we did a lot of great basement shows there in the '80s at our buddy Lenny Bandoch's house, and shows at this weird underground place called the Crypt.
What I remember most, though, was this awesome pizza/cheesesteak joint called Village Pizza . . .best pepperoni cheese steak hoagie I've ever had.

supposedly Sailor Jerry has had bands play in the street before, but I never saw any. I'm sure it was just a bunch of losers standing around watching.
