what next....leather jackets with an eight ball on the back....
and to be honest, it looks more like a white pride punk gig.....not a face of color in sight

as for the color issue..caesar that has always been the case, with a few exceptions. just saying. its nothing new and im pretty sure this is no shock to you.
when FEAR played saturday night live. that was as corporate sponsored as you can get. Thats also probably one of the most punk moments ever caught on camera. corporations have had their fingers in punk since the beginning.
If some dumb shit at sailor jerry thinks paint it black is going to give them "cred" or bring them customers... well its their dumb mistake. good for us and bad for them.
who cares if someone wears a new era cap? sure it can be lame but so were half the things john stabb wore. there have been alot of trends (fashion wise and otherwise) that have crept in and out of hardcore and many more will. I find it all secondary and irrelevant..
and for the record. hardcore has and ALWAYS WILL BE a sausage party.

Coming from California and going to punk gigs back in the day with my brother and friends it was always a melting pot of races....there were white, black, mexican, asian...you name it...so this is unusual to me.
comparing Fear playing SNL to whoever playing at Sailor Jerry's are two different things entirely...I Understand the difference...I was only poking fun because homeboy said in Philly they get wild in the streets and I said its easy to get wild in the streets when you got all permits pulled to mosh and go crazy in the street. I was saying or tyring to say its easy to go crazy when you got permission to go crazy...as opposed to a renegade party with no permits just going off for the fuck of it...No rules, to me, that is punk rock. Try jumping out of a tree all day long while a cop tells you not to...we will see who is punk rock then..
As for fashion sense I was only joking...I mean if you look at things now....hip hop kids dress like skaters....skaters wear either tight-ass pants or go the wanna -be gangster look with baggy clothes. Shit , nothing even has a proper identity anymore, nor should it...but I think its hilarious when I am walking down St. Marks and I see some "punk" kid talking about Anarchy on their celluar phones....and trying to buy some bondage pants with a credit card..I also find this secondary and irrelevant and also very entertaining.
why does it always have to be about sausage...?
