I feel your pain. I know that a few months down the road I will really regret having the opportunity of attending an event like this being so close to me and skipping it altogether. But I have to prioritize, I'm moving abroad in a few months, I just need to slow my spending. Base cost for checking out the show in NYC would have been $300 with the bus fare, hotel and everything; and I'm sure my self-control would have failed with the whole "I just want to see the show, not buy anything..."
Hope it was a blast everyone!!!
EDIT: silent killer, sorry I actually DO NOT know your pain! I didn't know anything about someone stealing your Blopus! Just read about it. That totally sucks man. I didn't want to give the impression that I was being condescending... I feel a different kind of pain...

Just got back, had such a great time seeing familiar faces and meeting new folks. Let's do it again next year when I have some more food in my stomach and one beer doesn't make me such a fucking goofball.

2. the dude he was begging saying "release a toy and next time you'll get in"
3. auction dude
4. comic con dweebs in costume
5. (told to me 2nd hand by ed) A woman who said "Ugh. why is this stuff so much? I'd buy this if it was $5 bucks!"
and you probably did see us. we were trying to drag cesar to dinner.
