10,290 yen, or $101.84, at least shipped to Northern California.

Hah! Well, just to show that it never hurts to ask... I sent an email last night asking if anyone had canceled their order to see if any might've been freed up. Today I got an email from SB asking whether or not I had received my email order confirmation on Saturday and if i was still interested.
Guess my first confirmation email got lost...
Woot!

Received my invoice last night...
Hey Logang, can I quote you in my Vapors article?

Whether they let you buy one or two here in Japan, it doesn't phase the flippers one bit. They have an almost sinsister presence on lines everywhere that new toys release. They have synchronized networks of people, with family members waiting in lines everywhere with dudes on mopeds zipping from store to store to monitior activity and collect the toys, and pay the line people. The first guy goes, in and on his way out signals to the other line people how many to buy, using their fingers to indicate. I saw this with my own eyes. Even at the Thrash Out show, there were collectors using line people to overcome the limit of purchasing 2 customs from the show, IN ADDITION to the regular releases. The bottom line is that regardless of how many the toy makers allow to purchase, they WILL be flipped. And yes this sucks some of the fun out of it, but it is what it is.

If that, it's EMS, so once you get the shipping confirm give it 3-4.
I paid this morn, and fully expect to have it in hand Friday or Monday at the latest (provided customs don't get their mitts on it) but from what I understand, EMS deliver on the weekends in the states.
