Knewnan - you're right. Can be a juggle to get things to sit nice. But I think if you are genuinely into a toy or artist or company things will fall into place, at least for the collector.
The pink ken RULES!!!!! Plus in general the AMos toys seem to be marketed so you get thme fairly straight forwardly without having to pay ridiculous after market, but they also maintain their appeal. I spoke to James Jarvis about it when he came to KR in LA, and he said he wanted his toys to be available for everyone who wanted them, and didn't really dig the idea of extreme limited editions. Very cool I thought....and what a nice guy!

I just love the fact that this is how the collector chose to display his toys, it is good to be slapped in the face every once in awhile. I am fairly certain this was an intentional response to the whole RFSO attitude on this board.
I will say it again, I like the display (for all the wrong reasons).
I wasn't implying you were bashing anyone Knewnan, nor this post in general. I think it's great and actually get a kick out of your always raising this question in one form or another.

I think comparing the duneez to SB is futile.
Duneez are a platform toy where artists show their art work on this blank canvas.
SB are character driven pieces, with different paint schemes. They are not a blank canvas, they are sculpted in detail, and have definitive features.
my 2 cents

I like how we have to spell Dun-ny in different ways just to get the [expletive deleted] to show up

I actually like the stand. It would look good in the ikea cases everyone uses.
