Pickle Satoshi is my fave.

I was surprised to find two that I liked that weren't sold.

I also heard that GR pulled some bush league move where they allowed store employees to purchase pieces first.

I went by the GR2 yesterday to see the show. I was there alone with the young female employee and her one-eyed dog (both totally cool.) She was very proud and didn't hesitate to point out the 4 pieces she had acquired. if I worked there, and that was the policy, I would be all over it. :)

I heard some back channel info that further explained the situation and made sense of it. It originally sounded like some flipper grab but that wasn't the case.

Any idea which pieces were selected?
Cause I have a vague idea of the two heavy hitters who picked up a piece or two.
I'm just curious as to what they went for. I know what I would have gone for.

what do you want to know, I had first pick of the dehara stuff, I counted 13 pieces that were sold to employees plus the one that was not for sale that Dehara wanted to keep(girl eating piranha)... I'm just happy there were plenty of awesome pieces to go around...

Sorry! I'm not really clear on what your question is?

Dropped by GR2 to check out the pieces for this show today. Great show, a lot of the pieces were sold already. The UMA set was very tempting, but I passed.

Post Re: DEHARAVATH
Looks like Giant Robot has just received the remaining
Menta Ice-Bats. There are 2 kinds, 25 of each.
We have one of each in our archives,
and about 12 or so of each were sold
at the show, so that tells you about how many remain.
I don't know when Giant Robot plans on putting them up for sale
or if they will offer them online or not,
but when I find out I will post on
http://davidhorvath.blogspot.com/

I am on the road so I won't be able to check in on
PMs from this site, but I hope to post the status
as soon as I find out.

Thanks again to all who stopped by.
Very nice to meet you and see old pals once again.

I do too, but I'm worried about colorway overkill. I find myself waiting to pull the trigger on a lot of these until I know how many of them there are going to be.

One more before Uglycon NY in December. Then 3 at that show.
Then once these little guys come out (December at Uglycon, everywhere in Feb), the kaiju releases come out much less often.

Great report Slack.
Looks like it was an amazing show ...
Shitloads of Zombie Children!

Nice to see new Uglydoll VINYLS as well ...
Does this mean regular release vinyl Uglydogs & Uglyworms
might finally be on the cards?
They'd make cool minis ...
