pic is working on my end now. that doesn't look like a shot of the actual toys. it looks like a painting, or maybe the toys were put inside one of those old diner drink glass, the ones with the rippled glass or whatever. maybe some photoshop effect. i'd like to see a clear shot of these. with this pic though, like said, it is interesting, but i don't really dig it...

I don't like the occipital ridge/"eye brows" - it seems to imbue the Blob with 90s street attitude, and anthropomorphize a very non-human-based monster.

yeah, it almost looks like a "western" vinyl take on Blob.

As for the pic, most of the pics on the blob blog have this hazy look to them.

The criticism of the permanently furrowed brow is a good one, but at least it's something of a return to the original Blob family. Didn't think we'd be seeing anything like that. It's almost like this critter is half-way between Blobpus and Blobpi. A surly teenager?

Hate the "rude 'tude" this guy gives off. This is my least favorite BLObPUS sculpt yet (I love Diablo, for the record).

the body sort of looks like the smoking star. Not completely but it's reminiscent.

I like it. its got a bit of cronic-esque facial expression. i wish it had a look of pain on his face rather than the badass furrowed-brow.
