Ugh, I got way off track there. I guess my wife knows someone who knows this dude or is dating/dated (?) them or some shit so she was less than excited to see it when I showed it to her.

Those are pretty funny. I'm not sure if I could live with myself if I ever got something like that though. Like I'd be afraid that the joke would "wear off" after five years. Balls to the guys who do get tattoos like that though.

I got a few tats, I always get "what do they mean?" and my response is always NOTHING! You can slap a meaning on a tattoo all you want, and they have them sure, but in the end no matter how much it means, if it was dumb looking (in your opinion) you wouldn't get it. It's because we think they look cool, base thought of the whole deal. I hate seeing dumb people on shows like "Miami Ink" explain their naked goth fairy tattoo and how it represents their dead mom. Ugh, I'd hate them if I were their dead mom.

I have always looked at my tattoos as kind of like bookmarks in my life, less in depth meaning than a particular moment in my life.
Kind of like a photo album I guess.
