I hope implementing the update brings this place back to life real soon...

We will adress all thes issues in due time. Give us a few days to sort most of this stuff out. Here is what we are your updates for now:

1. New generic skin that looks nicer and more like the old board. This will be done today. However, our old skin is not compatible with the updated bbs software so it will still look different.
2. Building a custom Skullbrain skin that looks amazing (this will take awhile) but Josh and Brian are on it.
3. Search isn't working because we have to rebuild the search index. This keeps getting hung up but it should sort it self out today.
4. Avatar sizes will probably not be changed for now. The huge avatars make browsing on mobile devices clunky.


Don't worry, everything will be alright. In the mean time try to enjoy all the kick ass new functionality of Skullbrain.

Hahaha...I feel like I'm at work when I read things like this. "Upcoming fixes for the week" sort of thing. It is funny how people are saying the Search isn't working since most people don't even use it. It is nice to know that there are people that do.
One thing that is a bit annoying, when you click on a link, it opens in the same window. I like the old one where clicking on a link will open a new window. I have to look to see if it is part of the CP.

Well, I'm just glad things didn't go kerplooie! I have a busy day scheduled, and I need an outlet to procrastinate...

I just tried it on my iphone and it froze every time I am on it. I am on system 1.1.4. Is anyone else having this problem or is it just my phone?

just a out of context observation here:

it appears most SB users joined in the evening or night (PM times) while very few of us joined at a daytime hour (usially the people from over seas)

Im curious why this is? did we all put off joining untill we got home that night or is that when most of us have free time and thats the most likely time to join even tho most all posts are made during daytime hours. this is probably not the most interesting subject but now Im curious.
