Great images! The garagamel pieces really suprised me by how 'merde-ish' they were (especially the mini zag). And the print looks like the one that was at the GR from a month or so. Did not get to snag one then - maybe this time around?

Most of the koji collabs and the gargamel minis are still available. Most of the Le Merde 1 offs are gone and the burger bun run is sold out. We will try to get everything up online tomorrow, please don't send a million email request. We have to do this 1st come 1st served.

A big thanks to everyone who came out to the show. It was a blast. Even more thanks to Mike and John for giving Super7 a big makeover. Having this show up will make showing up at work that much better everyday.

The local following for this show compared to the one last year was drastic. It is really affirming to see people supporting Mike's work.

Man, I'm really warming to Le Merde's stuff. There's definitely a Big Daddy Roth vibe, especially from the rat.

They appear to be resin and not vinyl. Correct? Are his regular runs hand painted?

yes they are all resin. i am sure that all the shit is hand painted by the shit!

Busted my wallet w/ the show... picked up a malignus (sp) youth. wasn't into it initially, but (seeing it in person changed my mind, looked so funky (in a good way)

only downer of the night was not being able to get to my car because it was within a crime scene (thanks to whthalo for the lift). damn, i guess there was so much hysteria w/ the le merde show someone got shot - or it could have been a coincidence.

I just read about that shooting (on Geary.) Scary. I'm sure it had nothing to do with the show, though. I couldn't make it to the opening but saw the figures in the morning. Just amazing, and the Gargamel customs were a fun surprise. Love the new sk8er dude.
