Just had a funny 'monster moment.' Came home from the grocery and saw a small dog out in my street who is usually not loose. I approach to see if I can take him home.

He comes toward my whistle, until he gets about 20 feet away (the limit of his vision, I think), at which point he shows white all the way around his eyes and suddenly turns and tears toward home as fast as those stumpy legs could carry him.

I puzzled for a moment over this reaction, then realized - I'm wearing my Domo-Kun tee, and I'm sure all the poor little guy saw was huge eyes, red mouth, and a whole lotta sharp teeth, coming straight for him.
