 Tomohiro Yasui's Kami Robo figures
The MoMA is having a show on Japanese Culture and they've got paper repros of Tomohiro Yasui's Kami Robo Figures for sale http://www.momastore.org/museum/moma/ProductDisplay_Kami%20Robo%20Paper%20Robots_10451_10001_47791_-1_11480_11481____72848. The originals are fucking dope as they're DIY Wrestling Robots hes made out of paper wire and whatnot. Each one has a name and a background story and apparently hes done about 400 of these guys since 1982. There's a book too but its on backorder...

Basically theres a strong tie between the Luchadors of Mexico and the Japanese wrestlers. Peep his site: http://www.kami-robo.com/index_en.htmlThe videos are amazing! http://youtube.com/watch?v=mk35h_Q8OjQ
