 Re: Blue evil
the idea of 'claiming' auctions has always seemed a bit silly to me. most everybody here is in the same game, and asking other passionate collectors to pass on something they want just as badly as everyone else because someone said 'dibs' seems sort of whack.
what if five people have all been searching for this one toy to complete their collections? if each of them wants it, like, super super duper bad, and has been waiting for the opportunity to throw down for one, how do you decide who is more entitled to it?
the point of a public auction is to put everyone on level ground, for better or worse. sometimes it works out, sometimes not. ive certainly been outbid on many pieces that were 'crazy must-own' figures, but i cant really call the other person unfair or something because they were able to go deeper than me. it sucks sometimes, but so it goes.
also, what if everyone here passes in favor of one board member, and that member gets outbid by someone who doesnt participate on skullbrain?

Damn guys, I'd rather not see this end up in the stratosphere...only the seller benefits But I guess good luck to everyone. If you guys like blue so much, I have this sexy Tosaken strap as a consolation prize

 Re: Blue evil
I will only pay retail for RxH. An unpainted figure, of which I have dozens of the same sculpt, is boring to me and doesn't justify these astronomic prices. I'd rather have vintage sculpts at these prices.

 Re: Blue evil
I already have 2 of this one but need another to go in my closet collection... Just got my tax refund and need to kick this summer off with a bang.
lol.. just kidding, What I am kicking is myself for not picking this up last summer when it was offered at a fraction of the 1,000 mark. ce'la'vie.

 Re: Blue evil
Good luck to all involved in bidding on this figure since I am sure there are several dark horses in the running also vying for position that are not commenting on this post
Good luck to all involved....and may someone from the board at least win the bragging right to say they have deep sea abyss pockets and all other pockets don't compare
In the mean time, I'm going out to Safeway to pick up some RIT #2 Blue for $1.49 and steep my blank Evil on the stove for 45 minute for a 5 and dime enabled haze and watch the auction for the next few days for the final victor.................did I mention good luck to all
