Wow, it's amazing that he would find a buyer when he never said what he had, what condition they were in, or what he was asking for the alleged collection.

Let's just say that his temperament has proven to be somewhat volatile and leave it at that.

he posted a picture of his collection about 6 months ago, it was impressive then. I doubt it was a bad deal.

And why would our attitudes change? He's bi-polar at the very least. Sorry, Carrie, I know you like the guy, but I think he's an ass and he created that image all by himself.

Personally, I think he has you snowed.

I read that whole thread over there - weirded out. You think he actually sold it all - he did say he was keeping the best figs.

the hunt is half the fun!! there is no motive for buying all those figures at once for that price that isn't lame in my book. unless you own a store. and even then it's kinda lame after how dude fronts on the internet. This is coming from a guy who had absolutely no opinion on/dealings with the man who runs circus punks before the other day when he called me an asshole for offering to buy a few toys seperately (at higher than what he was asking for them). I really think he signed on over here under a different name and holds grudges against people for how they responded to his flaming attempts.

I don't really see what's so surprising about the way people react.

I counted 26 figures in the photos I've seen. Maybe there were more, but hard to tell among ALL the other stuff. The red Skullwing caught my eye...

It's like people who play these online role-playing games and buy a character loaded with hitpoints and power rather than level up over the months and years.

some of you are absolutely nuts. you think i couldn't have had a buyer and sent photographs? had i known knewnan didn't have everything he would have been my first contact - damn.

yes - the collection is gone.

kept the best pieces? i don't think so...??? kept 5 balzac sacks...and i've got duplicates of all pushead's.

buyer got a SMOKIN' deal.

the buyer (i think) posts here too.

no respect for selling a collection? that is dumber than dumb.

"the hunt's the fun part" - for you maybe...for others maybe not. why question somebody else's joy?

hotrod...you post one sentiment and PM me another. i love you man!

these are the sorta threads that make toy collectors appear to be complete assholes (some of 'em).

keep on keepin' on. keep feeling the coolness of SB. i will.

Almost as dumb as misreading what was written above and then posting a completely inappropriate response?

Don't forget to include certain toy producers...

just for the record I said the hunt is HALF the fun. the other half is owning as much crap as humanly possible.

now watch as this thread grows six extra pages on the end of it.
