 What ever happened to the pre-order on this?  a while ago this was up for pre-order but nothing ever came of it. Any chance of getting these in the store at all?

I jumped the gun and pre-ordered the Doguu from K-T before considering that S7 might also offer it (sorry S7.) That was also several months ago. I've inquired twice about status, and each time, K-T has said that they still haven't received the toy from Marmit, and ask me to wait another month. It's been over a month since the last time they asked me to be patient. I'm assuming that the same thing happened with S7 ... that Marmit hasn't come through for their pre-orders. However oddly enough, some people seem to have gotten the figure via other venues (YJA?)

Re: What ever happened to the pre-order on this? Same story for me on the dogu...ordered on KT months ago, still waiting. But to be fair, those orange zags took forever, as well. Not KTs fault, they are sharp, get a lock on pre-orders and pay attention. They will notify us and come through. Pretty decent shop, although ya gotta love America's finest heros, S7, the most.

Re: What ever happened to the pre-order on this? pre-orders with these types of toys are rarely an exact science, unfortunately. because the companies that produce these figures are all relatively small, sometimes they get held up, or projects delayed for one reason or another. the marmit dogu should finally be arriving soon. rainbow products usually offer pre-orders way way in advance of when the figures are actually produced. pre-order turn around times depend on the company as well as random delays. if anyone ever has questions on pre-order status, please feel free to email me.
as for the king ghidorah figure, if i remember right, the price ended up being pretty high, and we didnt get any orders, so we passed.
