and it's one of those wierd boreds. the type where you decide to watch a movie, then 10 minutes in, you don't want to watch it anymore. it's where you just sit there with a million things you could do, but don't really feel up to it. normally i'd get drunk in this case, but reviving from a kidney and liver infection, i'm not sure that's a good idea. so, instead i rearranged my toys and snapped some shots. i planned on waiting until my 1 year mark of collecting before posting, but i don't think the collection will change much in the next couple of months. need to use the cash to catch up on bills, maybe buy an actual curtain instead of using my sons spider-man blanket....anyways, theres a few pics here. check em out:

i would say that is a pretty insane collection for only a year, especially if you have a kid as well. congrats.

You have some very nice stuff, especially for only a year of collecting. Great mix of old & new Gargamel fight. The Rotofugi Marnon is one of my favorite pieces right now.

ahaha!! that would explain why i spent about 45 minutes looking for a comic that doesn't exist...

actually, that's a piece of original art, done by Tommy Castillo. The dude is amazing! This piece was the result of being drunk at the chicago comic con and stumbling into a charity auction in the hotel lobby. i paid a pretty hunk for this, but in the end, now that i've cut my comics collection almost in half, it's probably the best money i spent that summer. i later ran into Castillo in the hotel bar. He specialized the piece to me and my wife. If you haven't heard of Castillo, you should check some of his stuff out. He did this piece to backup his up coming run of Evil Ernie comics, a 5-issue mini-series released by Devil's Due. I think recently he's worked on some crazy King Kong spin-off book...
