Well, it takes all kinds ... Me, I think Airborne is among the biggest scams / most brilliant marketing concepts ever. They took the 'fact' that 'everyone gets sick after a flight' and ran with it. Now every time people take it but don't get sick after a flight (which they wouldn't have anyway, most likely), they give Airborne the credit. I wish I could convince people that something dreadful was much more likely than it actually is and make $ from 'preventing' it!
I see it as exactly the same reason that dogs chase cars - i.e., because from the dog's POV, it 'obviously works' - The car runs away every single time, doesn't it?
