There was a slight mixup...after they realized the akro was oversold.
They went around contacting people and giving refunds...but accidentally the pile of invoices was upside down, and they ended up contacting and refunding some people who picked it up in the beginning.
So they had to turn around and redo a few of em/recheck the invoices for timestamps etc.

If that's really the case, and not just sarcasm, then I'm really pissed. I had a paypal time stamp of 12:41:07 PDT and like I said before they were up for a good 10-15 mins. AFTER I got my order in. Just sucks that I wait weeks for this to come out then some BS like this happens. Oh and I didn't get refunded for 4+ hrs. Kinda fishy to me.

dundun, it's happened to a lot of us. Newer members and older. I totally relate to the feeling, but nothing "fishy" is going on and with the small releases + a bunch of us going for it at once it's a shock these glitches don't occur more often, S7 is pretty tight on it.

Sucks dude, but all any of us can ever do is go "damn" and move on. With RxH, there's always another bad ass release around the corner. You may not be able to get them all, but that's kinda the nature of the beast.

I agree that S7 is pretty good about it, but it seems there weren't many people around to buy, hence the "fluke" posting by an S7 staff member. I've had this happen before with prints and whatnot, but usually when something is available for a long period of time after an order is placed it means the order is ok, and the orders that sneak at the last minute get refunded. That's all i'm saying. Sorry didn't mean to act like a whiny baby, but this one really hurts, as I already cleared out a space on my shelf.

Not too long ago (before the store re-vamped the website), 'sorry - oversold' emails used to be a pretty common occurance. They are pretty rare, these days.

i am very sorry to the few who i had to refund. i can assure you there is nothing 'fishy' or sneaky going on, just an error. there is a great deal to do in keeping a store open, and with only two of us on staff on saturdays, other things required my attention - which is why i didnt send your email for a few hours after you placed your order. my job consists of a great deal that is not related to rxh, and yesterday was very very busy. while the mini akrokaizer sat available online for a bit, nearly all of the orders were in the first couple minutes, so although it was online for a bit, it did oversell fairly early on. i sincerely apologize for the frustration, but unfortunately this does happen from time to time. we do our very best to prevent it, but the combination of internet issues and me being human and quite busy, unfortunately led to some hassle for you.

it was indeed madness at the store. For a while it was just poor josh fending off the BASK dudes solo. Then Alex showed up and got the routiness under control.... There was babies crawling on the floor and even Brian and Dora made an appearance with Ava. It was nuts I tell ya. There was some kind of sale at Fatlace next door with people line up so they had to make a pop over to see what we were all lining up for too..

Two people running the store on a saturday seems bare bones.

Lesson number one, that I learned early on, never count on a web sale until a day or two later.
Then clear off space for said toy. Just saying from my bitter experience.

A lot of people get excited for rxh releases...but seriously the toys are hard to come by. For every..one person who is lucky to get one..20 or so..end up missing out. I just would never clear shelf space knowing how limited they really are. I'm still chasing the zags I want and I know it'll take time maybe another year or more.

As far as the store is concerned? I think we're lucky to have s7 even distributing these items. Before s7 did this it, they were probably 10x harder to obtain...I'm just glad s7 is able to get this releases in the first place.

I haven't spoken to Josh but I think you can probably blame me for the oversells on this release. I brought 5 of these down to Munky King and forgot to take them out of our inventory. So our web site thought we had 5 extras. I apologize to anyone who got the refund.

so glad i don't collect these...bummer for those that do though.
