 Re: Hanging With Carlos Carlos is truly on fire. I was talking with him right after he came back from Brooklyn Museum from the Murakami Show. He's got his crosshairs set firmly in that direction. He loves toy and wants to make some vynil toy but he's so focused on his art right now. I was talking about future plans and what he may do. If you're even considering that carousel, don't hesitate. He's got plans on making things twice as large as the Darkron figure he's finishing up

Re: Hanging With Carlos IIRC, the carousel and the shroom-copter were $3K each, the smaller ones were mostly $2K.
I may indeed succumb and get that carousel - It is so sick. He carves the originals from wood.
I got a bunch of the Praxis show pics from EFH, including the Belzors - Will post those soon.

Re: Hanging With Carlos The Belzors are awesome! And I love the brain texture that he uses on the mushroom carousel and the legs/arms of some of the figures. I didn't know that he carves the masters out of wood! It's almost unbelievable given how smooth the surfaces appear - especially on things like the breast.
