saw this big Tokyo Tower on jlist.com, though it might look cool along side some figures...be advised jlist has some adult stuff on their site http://www.jlist.com/PRODUCT/MYN318

 Re: Tokyo Tower model
I've got one and it absolutely rules! it's huge, well made and lights up. But i got one much cheaper on ebay - i think it was a jlist sale as a matter of fact. if i remember right, i think it cost me $25.00 shipped from Japan.
There's also a more expensive version of the Tokyo Tower on ebay - it's a little larger, more detailed and i think it's got an LED message scroll you can program. i think that dude is like $130.00
BTW, I put mine next to a zag - it looks great and is the perfect scale.

 Re: Tokyo Tower model
medium brightness - mine's at home (and I'm at work now) but i think the LEDs are set on the inside of the tower so they glow through the red plastic - when the thing it lit, it gives a nice soft, red glow.
you'll be impressed with this model - easy, pre-painted snap together assembly. if you can get one for less than 30 bones shipped, do it.

 Re: Tokyo Tower model
I got one for my B day this year from my lady and Bert. I just love it so much. So simple but just awesome. And it's easy to assemble too. Batteries not included.

 Re: Tokyo Tower model
every one on this board should get a tokyo tower - in fact, new rule: you aren't true RFSO unless you have a tokyo tower.

 Re: Tokyo Tower model
Now I gotta buy one...as a kid I had a Saturn V rocket with launch tower model, it was a similar orangey plastic...this Tokyo Tower reminds me of it. I recently did a gig poster with the Eiffel Tower...the whole time I was thinkin' Tokyo Tower though...here it is...

Hey Jeff, I was just walking down the street the other day and the record shop near my house has your Woo Re-Volts poster up near the door! I didn't expect to see that up there...

 Re: Tokyo Tower model
Alright, so...I totally impulse-bought the deluxe Sega Tokyo Tower last night. It's got a base with the little building under the tower; bright, multi-functional, color-changing LED's...seems pretty bitchin'...and I got a fairly good price on YJA.
I was having a hard time deciding, 'cause I love the classic, true-to-life red & white version, but I went with the translucent "crystal" edition. It looks damn cool, and more of the light from the LED's will hit the Garys...

Cool! Their record company printed a bazillion of 'em and they shipped them all over the globe. Glad shops are actually putting them up and stuff...its a great CD by the way!
