 Re: Old Skool Zyurai Asu
Khanate, your GID pic of the pinstriped face is awesome. I love the line work under the eye. If I'm ever able to, the matching Mav will be mine!
And enough of the teaser pics of the one-off from the Black Parade show, give us the money shots. That guy was at the top of my list for the styling. Anymore pictures you have of him would be appreciated.
And I'm not sure on how he pinstriped the red on the GID. Andy might know more.

 Re: Old Skool Zyurai Asu
All the pinstripes are handpainted with a brush - you can tell he does it all in one go. I've seen other people's pinstriping where you can tell they are going over each line more than once...sort of kills the flow IMO. I'll post some substantial pics of the Black Parade custom if maxaltoman ever posts pics of some of his pieces

 Re: Old Skool Zyurai Asu
that's really cool. OK so I gotta find a clear painted, rainbow, clear fade and a pinstripe.
...one day.

 Re: Old Skool Zyurai Asu
Great stuff guys - love seeing all the pics. I've been waiting for a major thread like this to come together for a seriously long time!
I'm tempted to rename it "Cronic - show em if ya got em!" but may just stick with Cronic Collections. Or how about just Cronic Zyurai Asu Collections? What do you guys think?

 Re: Old Skool Zyurai Asu
Let's keep it at Cronic collectons - to see the various wickedness that Naoki throws at us. Many of us have similar yet divergent collections because of his vision. I'd like to keep it central, hell one day it will surpass the Real x Head collection views. It's only a matter of time.

James, that HP mav is so rad! This thread should be re-named "source of envy" thread! Haha. Great Cronic collections.

 Re: Cronic Collections
Khanate, your Mavs are making me weep in the best way. Maxaltoman - show us close ups, those look fantastic all together like that. It's like a black rainbow parade. And to support kicking this topic off in style, here's a few old photos of my collection. It's currently in boxes until we move. Upon setup, pictures here first. And more has shown up since. I love Cronic. 1/1 Nougaki from Black Parade show/peering up at the show Mav Keep them coming. We cronic heads need more fixes.

 Re: Cronic Collections
Great to see so many excellent pics! Thanks for sharing, everyone! Love those risers, keiboba! I've always found Cronic figures look the best when they've got a bit of "breathing" space. Unfortunately I haven't got enough of that space, so my collection is a wee more cramped than I'd like. Now it's your turn, Alex. You've got a camera and a Photobucket account. Light em up.

 Re: Cronic Collections
Just curious - how does everyone display their figures? I had mine mixed and matched (different characters all together). Then I went to a character by character display, since I think it's cool to see the variations of each figure side by side. Now I'm doing a bit of both styles.

The coloring reminds me of water and oil mixing on pavement in good sunlight. Thanks for the extra pictures. Very nice.
