I think there is an initial excitement that washes over you for some of this stuff, before you can gain this perspective. How long that initial excitement lasts is different for everyone..... Hahaha!

 Re: RXH collections...
Thanks for the compliments, guys they're all put away for the time being (moving in a couple months), but I was thinking about setting them up one time for an updated shot just to see them all together. the set up will be a little different in approach with the lucky cat (thanks, joe). I'll switch out the pic if I do.

There will always be people in it for the hunt and attention more so than a real interest in the toys, but I know if I had a lot of money, my collection would blow up a little faster than it is right now. just a different perspective. To add: I have to admit, sometimes when I see collections that seem to grow insanely fast, I wonder how someone would take it all in...I got my first package the other day that had 4 RxH figures in it (built up over a little time), and I felt like it was "overload"--I like to admire each figure for a while before the next one comes in. that's just me though. I'm a lightweight, i guess. I think your missing my point.

Please don't edit or delete comments. I like to read flame wars!
Meanwhile (and this isn't directed at anyone in particular) collections that are 100 percent RealxHead are just bore me to tears. No imagination or uniqueness. That said, I admit I occasionally bounce in here to see what the noise is all about.

 Re: RXH collections...
After reading what everyone has to say, I feel like collecting isn't what it use to be. So someone thats new posts his crazy collection, and people attack cause he/she has the money to get it. Why attack them? They got the money and they can afford to get what they want. Isn't that just their business? Does that make them automatically judged as someone collecting with no love for the figure?Hell, if I had the cash to buy everything, I would too. Does that make me not have love for the figure? Also, how can you tell that someone that just joined the board never collected the figures before? Maybe they already were collecting way before joining and finally stepped into the community. I just think that everyone here needs to stop attacking people and sending negative vibes onto people with a nice collection. This thread was made to show your RxH collection and thats it. Unless you know and met the board member in person, I think there is no need to be all pissed off at some dudes collection. Again, let him collect and leave it as his own business. This is just what I think. Sorry, but I just think if your going to get all mad or pissed off from looking at someones collection, then why even keep this thread going?

I love this phase, it's so true. It's a place to show and enjoy our collection here. It's totally up to the individual how and to what volumn he wanna collect and display. Let's make this area the best place to share joy, happiness and fun

 Re: RXH collections...
I don't know who is offended as I never said any names. If I'm offending anyone than you must have some inner guilt and I hit a nerve.
And I have to disagree with you Hiro, it does make a difference. I do agree that isn't not always the case. But there are people out there that buy just because. In a community this is no good. It just drives up prices and keeps toys of of collectors hands.
I think this thread started with a good vibe. But after so long this thread could have single handedly started the RxH boom.
If any of this I said isn't you you shouldn't feel bad about one word I said. If this is you need to find a new addiction and leave the toys to those that care.
And this may just be my old man coming out, rahhhhh you kids need to get of my damn porch !

I understand what you are saying LASH, and I do agree. Some people may be buying it just because. Maybe you writting that comment after IH posted his collection made it look like it was on him, which I honestly thought so. But I just wantted to make it clear that everyone here collects, and no matter what the reason is, I think it's best that everyone here should meet the other collectors before judging why they are collecting. And that day will eventually come. Maybe SDCC??? I'm not trying to start a debate or anything. Just didn't think it was necessary to even throw out a comment about who has cash to spend and automatically saying that they are collecting without love.

I'm just saying that I really do care about these toys, and the core of this board was here when only the members where hardcore and all others that faked where weeded out. I just think that after seeing so many collection shots that I felt the urge to say something. I dont feel sorry if I offended any one who got offended. If you did than thank god this isn't a few years ago. Bottom line its your money and do what you want, And If IH has an issue he can PM me, there is a little button next to my name. Ask anyone I'm willing to discuss what ever like an adult. I didn't call him out but if he wants to I can sling shit all day, if only he was a member when me and Pogue talked shit to each other he would know. And yeah yeah , collection shots only, yeah what ever

 Re: RXH collections...
I'm just saying, don't rush to get your shelves full. If you collect long enough you will understand. There is much more appreciation in a slow growing collection. My collection isnt big and at times I think I have to much. I miss figures in the back that I forgot about because I couldnt see them.
Enjoy them a little at a time. And spend you dough wisely. Not all can afford big prices and as a collector I think you do need to think about the community as well as your self. Spending big money will only make it harder for others who cant. Flippers dont care and will buy and try to sell high. And for most all they can do is sit back and watch. They may be hardcore but can play because the bar has now been set to high.

God, there couldn't be a better RxH sculpt for a slime version than the Bat. That thing is amazing.
And shot against an "Eaton" style background no less. Looks good.
