 Re: My new favorite wallet
That Martin wallet is pretty nice looking, but can you resist the Zombies: Seriously though, anybody want to weigh in on the quality. They look a bit flimsy, but it's hard to tell from the photos.

 Re: My new favorite wallet
At 15 bucks I dont think anyone's looking for durability but I hope it lasts longer than my gamago wallet that fell apart almost immediately.

 Re: My new favorite wallet
The graphics are paper or thin cardstock laminated between clear plastic & stiched at the edges. Another clear plastic piece for money & a clear plastic card holder are stiched inside.
Expected more, but it was $15. And I imagine the artists get a %.
I will use it as a 'ceremonial' wallet for concert tickets and the like. (Presently holding Radiohead, Nick Cave & Stereolab!)

 Re: My new favorite wallet
they are called 'poketo' wallets and there are seriously hundreds of ones by different artists/designers/etc. i had one for about 6 months before it started looking like shit and falling apart. they are awesome just because of how thin they are.

 Re: My new favorite wallet
poketo is actually a different company than tiny meat, who produces this ontiveros wallet. but, yeah, the wallets they make are very similar and same basic concept -- both work with artists to produce limited runs. i know poketo has been around for years. the luke chueh wallets they did have become pretty sought after...
while these wallets may not be built to last, the all-over graphics make them look pretty damn cool and nice for occasional use

 Re: My new favorite wallet
Glad I searched SB for Martin today and faound this old post. There was one of these wallets still available on Etsy and I snached it up! I love the rainbow blood drips from the decapitated head with the big hair. The guy on the inside is rockin too. If only the broomsticks in Harry Potter were powered by blood spewing out the back! Would make a better movies IMO.
