I notice that this GID Zazahan/Zazahn by CCP Artistic Monsters has red lips (as does the only other GID one I've seen), while the only CCP/Artistic Monsters GID Zazahans that are shown at K-T or Club Tokyo have white lips - K-T image below.

Myself, I think he looks like pus-infected snot, which is of course much cooler.

I've seen him described as both sludge and as seaweed, seaweed seems right though. It gets spelled Zazahn, Zazahan and Zazan.

Weird, but I do not see the non-GID version on Club Tokyo - And for whatever reason the GID version is part of the CCP Artistic Monsters collection, but the green version of the same sculpt is part of the CCP Masaaki Satake collection. Here's a pic of my green one - All of the green ones I've seen have red lips. Where's CCPfan? He'd probably know off the top of his head if there are truly two versions of the GID.

That is great, I hadn't noticed! Sorta reminds me of the monsters who apparently evolved to walk on their front feet, but on their hind knees - Those slay me.

There were two versions of the GID Zazahn, one with red lips and one without. There were also two versions of the green Zazahn. The difference was in the color of the vinyl, one lighter green and the other darker green. All of those that I've seen had the red lips.

That sculpt has always unnerved me. He looks like some sort of candle wax fetish monster.

The one you have pictured above is the lighter version as you can see by this picture from CCP.
