 Re: Cronic Collections
we needed a Cronic Collections thread at some point...
will post mine as soon as I heal from the dentist butchering me today...though I can't even pretend to be competitive with collections like Khanate's and Andy's...
I'm working on it though...

 Re: Cronic Collections
The little bit of Cronic that I have. I'm still waiting on the Ultraman Ankoron. Should be here any day but Matt is being impatient Ankoron is one of my favorite characters...and after taking the pic, I just realized that I'm missing the red one that came out before the Ultraman. Poor red guy is sitting far away from the others

I'm working on it though... ouch, hope you're feeling better! man, it's definitely not a competition to me...I just collect what I like obsessively...and having a personality prone to addiction doesn't help.

 Re: Cronic Collections
khanate, firstly, amazing cronic collection! u must also be very well connected to the japanese insiders. the one-offs from the LB this year went to very very very few people.
hopefully hiro-san will post his complete zyurai collection one day. that would be a sight to behold.

Here's a pic I already had taken of a recent arrival! I'll add the pic to demonstrate that it's a painted clear:

 Re: Cronic Collections
The dorome is just a great sculpt and the different paints that Naoki hits it with, along with his excellent use of base colors, just go so well together. I'm always finding new ways to look at it, and this thread is giving me even more.
The lucky bags this year are a herculean moment in my kaiju book. I only have a few pieces I've picked up from other's bags, but khanate, that last Mav you showed is crazy. CRAZY!
Thanks again everyone for posting more pictures, this is a treat to be finally taking in.

 Re: Cronic Collections
So many great figures, pics, and displays! I'll put more pics up bit by bit. My case is pretty crowded, so I prefer to put together nice set ups and shoot a few figures at a time. That way I can also get better lighting, use the camera timer, and adjust the settings so the pics are sharp. BTW, Super7 still has one of the best Nougakis in stock. ( http://super7store.com/store/detail.php?item_id=11489). I like the figure so much I used it for one of my outdoor shoots last year. Man that seems like a long time ago!

 Re: Cronic Collections
That blue LB Dorome is amazing...one of the better ones I've seen lately...
I just got the "camo" one that just came out a few weeks ago in Japan, better than I expected...
and yes, the LBs this year did make for a Herculean effort to get what you wanted...I am still hunting for a bunch of pieces...but this is the best part for me, hunting for Cronic...
great pics thus far!

I have one of those, but the one in this pic is a lot different, and there was one on YJA that looks similar to ST's as well... is this a totally separate release? prob. not, but need to know if there's a Nougaki I don't have on my want list... cool pics thus far, hope to take some this weekend of my gang.

 Re: Cronic Collections
lorne, it's a different release. from a festival (can't remember which one, but I think it was released at the same fest as the silver/black Zyurai HP and gold/black Mav HP)...
