I think some of you guys are over-reacting. I'm a SB fan, and I'm not the least bit offended. It's clear that the author is biased against Secret Base and its fans, but it's hard to say to what extent. Did the author actually intend to offend SB fans? I'm not so sure. People have every right to be critical of the article's content because it truly is lacking in quality, but personally insulting the author is uncalled for.

How do you “personally” insult an anonymous person? Seems impossible to me.

to be honest. I don't like that article because everyone is going to jump on the SB bandwagon. Negative press seems to make anything popular. In this day and age of media overdose, it seems like negative media is the only thing that catches people's attention. There was an article on Jim Greco, skater for Baker boards in rolling stone a couple of years ago. It was a sad article on a talented youth that was a degenerate drunk. That little bit of free negative press has probably made Baker one of the most sought after brands these days.
