I love me some Cure, but nowadays I don't even think Gojira's mouth is that big.

Seroiously, though, how was the show? Any older stuff? I haven't seen 'em since the Disintegration tour.

i havent heard any of their new stuff, honestly, and i was pleased with the sound and the set list. they were playing stuff all the way back to killing an arab

i'd say 6 or so newer songs - you could tell the vintage of the song by the level of reaction of the audience... how well everyone sang along... how much bounce in their dancing

we were hanging out with a guy that has seen the cure 4 times and he said this was the best set list he had seen them play

you can kind of tell this may very well be a farewell tour of sorts. they were filming with several cameras in HD i assume for a future DVD release, played for over 3 hours, played a wide selection of old and popular tunes

it was a fun night and a fun crowd

They've been playing the cure: The only one to death on the radio. It really reminds of their older stuff.
