The "base" I used for the grodnoid armor is a little foam circular thing that comes with bulk blank cd/dvd's packaging.

Hahaha it's always some crap that's right in your face, thanks for the tip. Luckily I have a ton of those around and it works real nice. I also put a used chap-stick tube in the hole of the disc to put the armor over so it's a bit more stable.

The interior of this things body is too nice to keep the armor on, have to show off them guts.

either there were a lot more available than expected (doubtful), or people are just crazy...... i'm assuming the latter.

mini rxh sells out in 2 minutes and this has been up for 2 days... insanity

This was my first PK purchase, and I agree with wing_clipper. These look like works of art, not rehashed paint jobs on a cutesy mini (with only 1 or 2 exceptions...).

I think there is a lot to the hype-machine, people want what is "hot". But we should count ourselves lucky; I was way late to the game but I still managed score one of these amazing pieces. I can't wait!

These are the kind of figures that you need to have in hand to really appreciate!

excuse my noobishness on the matter... but I'm guessing that the other grodenoids are much more difficult to procure? What kind of prices can one be expected to pay for them?... I'm feeling the urge to track a few more down....but I'm still recovering from my backwards collecting of rangeas.

Post Re: PK-Grodnoid // The growing threat.
good luck on finding exohead

I only have this grodnoid and the other PK set, but exohead when you can find it is expensive. Retail on exohead is next to impossible these days.

it's like anraku. if you don't know where or how to get it, it's impossible.

A small run painted by Paulkaiju is something people should not sleep on. Paul put a ton of work into these. And who doesn't love a chance at a lottery?

I had been in love with the photos people had posted of their collection but I never had any luck scoring one until the Grodnoid. I was excited to get it but it wasn't until I had it in my hands that I realized how great they are, I instantly wanted more.

There is so much love that went into the design of these.

I'm stoked to see there might be a new design coming.

The design, paint application, and detail of these figures is amazing, I would definitely agree.
If people are wondering about these PK versions, get them now while you can. You'll kick yourself later on because people don't give these up.

There's not much to judge how much old exohead mm's are because they never come up. One was sold RFSO style last year and sometimes the last manmachine in that series before the groidnoid came out pops up. But the older stuff, never. Most are in permenant collections or traded between board members i assume.

I've been thinking of putting up a few old'ish rxh to try and nab andy, iggy and the mm-100 clear guy. Hard decision though.

The last time I saw a Jain posted here was in a picture thread from a shop. As I recall, it had a 35000 yen price tag on it, and aside from one traded here, I haven't seen another.

This is nuts! At first I thought "maybe it's an open run, he'll take orders for 1 day than cut it off" than I thought, after 1 day, no chance. If you have $90 or can sell an organ for that much, DO IT! I almost wanna buy TWO!

I regret so much missing the first Grodnoid, I passed it like 4 times. This one is so much hotter though (well, judging from pics of the first.)

Cumber-Noid, look how much fun it is!

What I think is funny is how much hub-bub there was over the last PK x Exo attack and now there's another, open to all, and it's just sitting around.

I think people might see the thread title and skim it or pass over it without reading it.
I know I initially did.
I'm actually shocked that this thing is still up as well. I know it sounds like a broken record but I can't recall the last time I actually saw a manmachine up for sale.

hell, if it weren't 1-per-person I'd buy 3 then pay him to re-paint 2 of them.

Ha! I'd thought of that too! Or if I could buy two to trade for the first PK x Exo releases...
This is the best release of the year so far! Really hoping to hit lotto gold!
Are the folk over at VI aware of this? I'm assuming not, otherwise I bet they'da been gone a while ago.

I'm just happy as hell I got mine and didn't have to track him down like I did Kurt and Sven...though I had major help in that regard...

this MM is ridiculous...and I have a funny feeling that there will be many paying a pretty penny for these down the line, if they ever show up again.

and now I pray every few minutes I score one of the pink Grodnoids...

The last PK x Exo was a set of two, so I think there are almost twice as many to go around this time.
