I have no idea if it helped or not, but Stealth and I kept asking Mori to make a standard version of the mini, and during our stay in Japan, he mocked one up, which had red paint and glitter in the eyes....which he ultimately did not like.
What a GREAT throwback Mutant Head!!!!

Regardless of me not getting this, I do think that this is a step in the right direction. Calling everyday, phone ordering without seeing the toys first and popping into the shop for no new releases gets tiring. You quickly feel like a slave to your hobby- and that's no fun at all. Hopefully there will be more releases done like this.
