gatchabert wrote: hahahaha....slight enhancement for the tanuki. that's just too funny. Heh yah but I think its a bit downsized compared to the original Tanuki figures. Either way makes walking a little painfull I would think. Yah the Pumpkin came out nice, I may still add some black detail to it. Thanks! The Dude was originally supposed to be me. I sculpted it without any photos or a mirror so its as I saw myself in my mind. Needless to say.... it needs work. Check this sample out... GID. Still needs more tests though. The glaze is not adhering well which is I think becuase I used a wrong ingredient. Another test tomorrow and Wednesday. The glow is intense! More so I think then glow vinyl and apparently it has like a 7 hour glow though I have yet to test that.

your work is lovely, and i to would like to get on the be-"smog monster" cookie jar list if there ever is one. i don't understand how someone can be so over protective of an image taken off a vintage header to begin with, but hey, i love them so i am damn glad he makes them. i have been really starting to love Raku pottery lately and think a bemon would look lovely with that sort of metallic glaze.

Yah I dont quite get that one either. Im assuming he's not the creator so therefore most likely doesnt even own the rights to it. Though I know of incidences of people who have copyrighted old designs that had no claim/name to 'em. Since that new "Bemon" has come out with pretty much the exact same head on it Im feeling a little more at ease about making one.

 Re: Matango Dog + Friends
The New one is made by Target Earth.. Dunno who makes the OG. But if you look at the 2 heads side by side you can see they are different sculpts. I'd like to know the whole story on whats up, if Im right and its not his how many cease and desist letters has he sent to Target Earth? Smogon from the Target earth site and Bemon from Kaiju Taro for reference

For some odd reason I thought it was a Longneck joint, but Target earth getting into the Bemon fray. The arms and puffy prom dress shoulders still bother me though, maybe just one.

They also changed the bizarre smile/mouth with a more smooth approach. Do like how the bolts are part of the body structure.

I thought long neck was bemon ? With paint I don't think this version is that bad at all. Even with a slight difference the head is pretty decent looking. But I agree the shoulders are odd.
