Post Some old and new minis and the bargain guys on the bottom...
My collection doesn't have a focus, I sort of opt for variety. One of the things I like are minis. Cheap, expensive, old or new, I like 'em. And when I'm down and low on coin, I'll grab some bandai, if they look goofy enough. That said, here's the mini rack; top, middle and bargain basement. Forgive the lack of purity, I live in a cottage and shelf space is at an impossible premium!

aaaaannndd the Bargain Basement Bandai Bruderhudt! (with special guests):

Whoops, forgot the second shelf -fighters mostly. I really shouldn't work on stuff late at night...sorry about blur...thought it was my eyes. The little square shadow at back is Boxing Day mini-galtan...hasn't been unpacked yet!

Other shelves, other days...

Nice Zag Tank!!! Those rule hard.

And I'm digging the Bandai Evil down on the bottom. Those Akumazier Sofuvi Damashii's were pretty cool!!!

Awesome collection shots. Amazing how many 'freaks' fit on such a small shelf.

I like the hidden dehara figure on the 2nd shelf (1st pic). where the hell did you score that fisherman guy (I've always wanted that one!)? Also love the m1 hawaiian mini & pink bear model hedorah (hard to find no?)

Post Re: Some old and new minis and the bargain guys on the bottom...
Thanks folks!

Posted the missing shelf. The Woodrings are Imperial Newts, and if you mean by fisherman that yellow "anti-Batman" looking fellow, he is Bandai, cheap and I *think* that he's an akumizer villain, but I forget exactly. Easy to get. The white squid-headed guy on the top shelf far right was relatively cheap, too. Sucker took about a year to get, though.
Well, off to work. Tomorrow the re-shoots and perhaps a couple more shelves of larger guys on a new thread later in the week.
Have fun!

T' anks! Collection has kind of gotten out of hand...happens about once a year. Haven't shown the full sizes or Koziks yet. The westerns are still tubbed up. I'm trying to find a common focus to concentrate on, mebbe pare down to, so I can work on house and have a collection. So far the criteria are:

1. I gotta love it
2. The sculpt should have "stand alone" character
3. It should be able to balance the root of tradition, kawai and modern post-pop funk.
4. GID *and* painted if possible
5. It should cost less than a room addition, electrical contracting or a garage.
6. I gotta love it

Not GID unfortunately. "Ika Devil" is a bandai, too, I think. Finally nailed him through Agin. Not many Kamen villains out there is what I heard. I sort of remember that I have a big orange costumed action figure of him or his relative somewhere, too. Ika Gilas, that is, not Mr. Agin.

It is the KT anniversary (mit ein kracker) chaos. Cracker still preserved in tub, hopefully.

Here in flyover country, our flea markets tend to be filled with tractor parts and slightly distressed "Precious Moments" figurines...The west coast, Hawaii, Asia; now there are some marketplaces! I am forced to consort with another site that shall not be named...and although they would never sell my information, I shall never lack for offers to get bigger, have an undetectable counterfeit watch, get free meds and be able to work from home.
They do have some *cheap* stuff, though.
I think my next shopping will be here for a 3-4 of those butohanas. The shelf is crying for them. The wife is tired of me whining for them. Yes, the time has come...

I didn't get into the fight style figures as much as many did, and often I regret that. There are just so many really outstanding paint jobs! On the other hand, I've only been collecting kaiju semi-seriously for a little more than a couple of years. I hear that it is common for newer people to freak and grab a huge, unfocused variety of stuff, which has been a lot of fun!

Thanks andy. I wouldn't have half the stuff I have without the help of really cool community members on this and other boards, goes without saying!
