Post The OTHER toys thread !
I'm sure everyone on this board has noticed with all the NEW members and Lurker's there has been an influx of items NOT related in any shape or form, that have nothing to do with what SKULLBRAIN is all about. And sometimes in the hopes of obtaining some of the items we love on this board we , and myself included have listed some of these toys in the BS and or TF forum. I was thinking it might be nice if we all got together and asked Ramos and Brian to let us have a SEPERATE forum just for the OTHER TOYS. This could include all sales, trades or anything else related to types of toys other than KAIJU inspired items !
Anyway it's just a thought. It would be nice if our main forums here did not have to get bogged down with all the posts that have nothing to do with Kaiju or toys inspired by Kaiju. I guess some of us would really have to think about what goes where, but I think it would work. Anything that don't belong in the Kaiju thread should get ZAPPED ! Maybe ?

I'm curious: why do you think this board is just about kaiju? Super7 sponsors this place, and a lot of the magazine has been devoted to robot toys.

And if you want to get really nitpicky, 4 out of the "Super 7" characters are robots. ;p

Shape, are you asking for a KR like forum?I think the Whatever forum, and American toys forum are good enough to talk about western Vinyl and all that in, I dont think we need another free for all board, and plus we can use KR's bandwidth and sell our stuff there.Just my 2 cents

I personaly think this board should try and stay as much kaiju as possible.

I dont think there is anything wrong with your idea, and we all here collect some western vinyl.

But I came here to get away from western stuff.

When I want to talk or buy or sell we all know where to go.

I personaly would like this board to be as far away from westen as possible.

Shape, i think your idea is fully with the best intentions, and the idea is great, but chopping the msg board into smaller pieces will just cause further chaos. The hardest thing people have to do (and end up not doing) is reading on the internet. The more choices a person has to put his or her message in, the more likely they're gonna glaze over and put it wherever frustrating people even further. It will also end up in even more effort on the part of admin's to move shit to the right place.

To explain myself, I was just too young (according to my parents) to get the original series - though I got Skeletor. The series after that point got weaker and weaker IMO. I feel I can't move on till I own what all my friends once owned!!

You can send the red skullwing to...

And then reality kicks in with a vengence, and one realizes that one will only see a red skullwing at 72 pixels...

Hey all, it was only an idea. It just seems of late there have been alot more western vinyl posts. I guess time will tell how much of the western vinyl ends up on this forum. But yes, I did get a sense that this board was more devoted to the kaiju aspect of toy collecting. I kinda had the feeling from the begining that this board was aimed at keeping a distinct identity that would set it apart from other toy collecting forums. I guess in the end it is only what we make it. PEACE
