I'm driving to Washington with my 20 month year old son..and we're leaving friday now..instead of Sunday..It should be an interesting trip. He usually starts to get frustrated driving 35 minutes to s7 so I'm sure the 15 hour drive is going to be pretty painful.

Shannon/aaron have a great summer or time in LA.

Dean..I should be frequenting the store more on saturdays when I get back so I'll meet you then. Hopefully the job search is going well.

There's a lot of toys in the cases. So many that sometimes you only see what is in front of you...even when you open the case. I've gotten a couple of Gargamess figures and more recently, the yellow Gachamecha. Having said that, I've also missed my share of neat finds in the back of the case. Most of us walk up to it and peek in and say "Bah...same old stuff..." well, I know that the "same old stuff" might have something new in it. You just never know...some sneaky guy can put something in there the day before Saturday and before you know it, it is in someone's hands. I say...the store is going to have something new, they should put it on the shelves or in the cases and not out front. But then if you show up like I do, everyone up front will be holding the new item

Totally agreed about the cases (and the shelves.) They may not always be this moment's trendy toys, but there are lots of treasures there.

I always make sure to view the cases and do the walk up and down the isles cause there is always something new to find and sometimes it takes a few passes to notice something new

Hello Everyone!

We have some good and bad news.

Let's start with the bad news since it leads into the good news.
The bad news is that Shannon and I will not be there on Saturday and we totally feel like shit for it, but we were given an opportunity to make some good money pretty quick (which we're in dire need of for SDCC).

The good news is (well aside from us making some money) that there will still be cupcakes at the store on Saturday morning, we're baking them tomorrow and Ben will be taking them to the store for us. We're really sorry if some of you were coming to see us off, but we'll be seeing each other again very soon. We'll still be in SF on Saturday, but we'll be at the Pride festival passing out fliers, so if anyone was thinking about stopping by, come say Hi to us! The festival is around the Civic Center. On Sunday Josh will be at the PAWS booth, so you can say Hi to him too! So go to S7 on Saturday, buy some toys, grab a cupcake and hangout with some friends!

Again, we're terribly sorry but we really could use this money. We're very sorry that we're not going to be able to say bye to everyone, but not to worry, we should all be seeing each other at SDCC. For those attending SDCC come say Hi to Shannon and I at the S7 booth on Preview Night and on Thursday-Friday (and possibly Saturday) from 10am-3pm.

Just to re-cap, Shannon and I will not be there on Saturday, but cupcakes will. We'll be at the Pride Festival if you really wanted to come say bye to us. If not, we'll be seeing everyone at SDCC at the S7 booth! Again we're terribly sorry and we feel really bad!

man that sucks but i understand the need for the money. i guess i'll catch you guys on preview night, but i'll still be making my normal trek up there saturday.
