Post TOUMA DESTDON at MONSTOCK
OOOPS!!!!! I saw the Monstock guy the other day and we talked about the fact DESTDON is the correct spelling, NOT Destodon. Sorry folks!!! When I translated the kata-kana I took the phonetic sounds literally.

Went by Mostock the other day and he has been busy painting up a few mini and standard size Destdons in a bunch of colorways. I think a few of these have been released already and more planned. The pink one coming soon looks really nice.

Those are some beautiful colors.
I think the GW Lottery one was amazing.

Yes, the GW lottery ver is really beautiful.
Personally, i like the mini destdons.
For those interested, there are 6 "released" so far.
Bad news is most are almost unattainable.

I really don't like Touma, but the standard size looks alright. I won't be buying one, but I wouldn't turn one down if they were given away for free.

So are these kinda like Tim Biskup's Dragamel (but not by G)? I've only seen them once before, but I've never heard anything about them on this board. And unattainable huh?

Did you pick me up a Goga while you were there?

Or at least an ugly vintage shirt?

It's a collaboration between Touma and Monstock, and an original character. I think it may have been discussed a while back on the forums when the prototypes were displayed.

I wouldn't mind a standard size in the flash green vinyl. It looks like translucent green with silver flakes?

The mini pinks look pretty sweet. So if someone was to try and attain the unattainable, how would one go about it? Even with google translation I can't seem to locate a mailing list sign up off the blog. Probably way out of my price range anyhow...still interested nonetheless.

The red/blue and orange ones are pretty cool, but I have to agree...when it comes to ridiculously rare toys the Destodon just doesn't do it for me. Touma's stuff is just too "clean" overall. I do like the super-long arms and back spikes, though!

When I first saw the test shots I wasn't into, at least from the neck up. But it's pretty tight with paint, I like the mini more though.

If they were readily available and not too bad on price I'd consider it, but not enough to fight for.

TT had a handful of the pink and black minis for KINYC...they were $45...very cool little sculpt.

Love the minis. Not so hot on the full size...

Wishing for just one for my collection.

Sadly it appears they're long gone. I stumbled upon the image of a pink mini on TT's site a few weeks ago, but they were sold out. I asked about restocks but was told it's unlikely. If you have different info let me know :)

not too difficult for the regular releases now as long as you are willing to pay. plenty being resold of late.
the minis though is a different story.

I don't like the original but the Nise version is pretty rad. Still, I don't think I'd ever put effort into tracking one down.

Black and pink were the first two. Isao-san told me they weren't sold as a regular run, but were made available as a special release (I can't remember the exact details).
