Though, that's not to say there won't be any figures.
I assume there will be something released at the TT booth similar to the blind bag bagmen released at 07, but right now it's all wait and see.
Personally, I would love to see some more Damage Brain action. i really really hope they have something there besides pushead stuff. The Balzac stuff at the TT booth was a total surprise last year, so fingers are crossed they come up with the goods again (especially since there ain't much on the initial TT flyer that floats my boat)

The back left looks like a glow eye, which has my attention...I would have thought that there'd be a black skull though...and a mole man would be pretty awesome too! I did sort of expect something a tad bit weirder, I suppose...

I would shit myself. Only problem is there goes my whole budget, cause I'd have to get all of them!!! I have a good feeling there will be more than just Pushead stuff at the con. As far as the base goes. We did get spoiled last year. That was just to much bad ass shit at one time.

+1 When is the bobblehead thing going to go away? And how can you take a character based on a giant evil eye for a head and a skull and fuck it up?

oddly enough they're not bobbleheads...thank god...though they do have that look...
The band was in complete control of how these looked...so it was straight from the silly eyeball heads to this product.

I guess there's always something to be said for artistic integrity. Just ask Michael Jackson.

Re: Official SDCC 2008 Preview Thread (Spoilers)
me too.
any of the classic looks would have been fine by me...but this appears to be more in keeping with their current style/aesthetic...like those cartoony posters they were putting out a few years ago...these look like they popped off of those.
I would have even been down for Cube-E style figures...or even classic action figure style toys with the Eyeball and the Skull head being interchangable...to me the Residents are more menacing than cartoony, but it's their bus.
however, being a HUGE fan of the Residents I have learned that they always do what they want...I'm just glad they're still around.

The release date: XX XX 2008 height 12 Inches [/quote arkiv] ...makes me think of what would happen if you through Jermaine Rogers, Kaws, Touma, and a M.u. nny into a blender...maybe my brain doesn't work right, but I can't help but think that this is an amalgam of those other artist's work... That said, I have not created my own figure and I suppose that congratulations are in order for whoever can pull off the process... SG

Wow, Im batting 1000 this morning for pissing people off. I am sorry Im just trying to contribute any thing that I can.
Keep in mind thought, using similar design work is the truest form of flattery and has been done several thousand times in history. I dig the piece and dont see a problem with it.
