Serious? He's been cranking those things out lately, I can hardly keep up! My Ver. 3.0 just came in the mail yesterday (he rules!!!) and the 4.0 and Panda versions are scheduled for August/September. Plus he's been putting out uncolored versions (2.5 / 1.9) at cons, as well. And these guys ain't cheap!

I think these may just be test paints and be changed once released. At least that's what I gather from the translation. I really like these as well.

i heard this as well. the same guy does both works. that longneck was his own creations, and the bemon line is classic/obscure monsters from (un)pop culture of yester-year...

The guy who is behind Longneck sells Bemons but is different to teh Bemon guy. The Bemon guy is a punk rock dude, while teh Longneck dude is the silent dude who sells his shit at toy shows and runs Cosmo Knight Alpha - or so I thought. Dempa seems to be very much following the Bauer release pattern.

By the way, was it just me that didn't dig the King Joe Dempa colorway?

What's the back story for the "King Joe" Dempa--i have this version but doesn't have a clue as to why it was a "King Joe" Dempa. Was it a tribute to a ruthless Kaiju King?

I was underwhelmed by it and liked the Panda one more (that other people seem to hate).

I like this Smogon tribute, but enough is enough for me. I'm up to five of these sculpts. Besides the Hukkokudo Smogons are about the same size and I have those orange ones to do battle against the Dempagons. That's my logic to ignoring these.

I liked teh Panda a lot too - form the pics I saw anyway - the colorway really suits the scuplt IMO.

How could anyone hate the Pandagon? I really like the King Joe one, as well, but seriously... nothing can compete with the panda!

I only love the first version and the Frankenruge tribute, I have none, the others are OK but not for the cost so I've passed. Wish I was online the day those first 2 dropped for pre-sale though.
