Im not seeing a whole lot that really really tripps my trigger, but I have not seen gargamel's booth yet either.  here's what i bought the last two years... i think it exceeds $2K - and i don't even think it's everything. although i did mule and bought a few things to flip to help pay for my trip. i don't know how i'm going to get all my stuff back this year though (had my friend drive it back last year... and i drove the year before)... so maybe just $1k this year (hopefully)

Re: How much are you going to spend at SDCC08? these pics just make me think of that last moment before packing up my suitcase at the hotel and having a panic attack that I won't be able to fit everything.
this year I'm not leaving until the afternoon on monday so I'm shipping shit back to NYC...I hate checking luggage more than anything. after spending as much as one does at SDCC, why not drop a little more on shipping?
I have a feeling that the mules this year are gonna need some big saddlebags for the day.

If you can't carry it on, you'll probably get charged, at least with many of the bigger airlines.
