 Re: Ho Chi Minh
For real! Looks so much better non-flocked (I can't stand that stuff).
Does it say "Fuck You GI You Die" on the base like the others? I ask cuz the script looks different.

 Re: Ho Chi Minh
I believe the base says Ho Chi Minh
The non-flocked versions look great, much better IMO than the flocked. has the black version been released?

 Re: Ho Chi Minh
it's funny. I have the Velvet Revolution mini-bust set Frank did about 5 years ago and love it (prob. one of my favorite "multiples")...but this one gives me a weird feeling...not a good one...
perhaps it's the gun that makes this feel too real for comfort...a lot of my family was effed in that war, so maybe that's part of it too.
the Velvet Revolution quartet (Lenin, Stalin, Mao and Marx) all seem like cartoon characters because of age...Ho Chi Minh...I just don't feel right about this thing.
but that's just me...Frank seems to have the evildoer knickknack market cornered. but one question: what about this makes it Kozik's? no cigarette even...

 Re: Ho Chi Minh
here's an odd question... looks like the gun has a strap...so can the gun come off?
If it does... doesn't it violate that law(not sure if its just NY) that says toy guns can't be "real" looking and have to be brightly/multicolored so that cops won't mistake it for the real thing

Yes, according to Lulubell site the gun and hat are removable.

I hear ya, but even mini toy waterguns (those small ones) can't be colored black. No offense to anyone in uniform, but cops these days tend to shoot first and ask questions later whenever someone even seems to raise an even slightly dark colored object when in their presence.

I'd say if you buy my version just don't walk around NYC with it. I like my customers alive.

Being Vietnamese...I want to dropkick these busts everytime I see them, but history is history and you can't change the past. However, this black one does look nice...

 Re: Ho Chi Minh
I don't see the point of the gun if he's got no arms.
If he was holding it, maybe ...
But with no arms he looks all like: "Help! Get this fuxxin' thing off me!"

 Re: Ho Chi Minh
To me, it looks like a dead body with no arms and a gun slung on it.
